Vinyl Print Production Manager - Nashville
The Vinyl Print Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of vinyl print production, ensuring high-quality materials are produced on time and within budget. This role requires hands-on expertise in operating vinyl printing equipment, applying vinyl, and managing the entire production process solo when needed. We are looking for someone proficient in running an HP Latex 365 printer, laminating, cutting, and applying large-scale vinyl graphics.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Proven experience in print production management, in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Graphic design.
Hands-on experience in operating an HP Latex 365 printer, laminating, cutting, and applying large vinyl graphics independently.
Strong understanding of printing techniques, processes, and materials.
Excellent communication skills for managing vendor and client relationships.
Strong organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Operate the HP Latex 365 printer, laminate, cut, and apply large-scale vinyl graphics independently.
Receive electronic PDF files, format, edit, and prepare them for digital printing.
Manage production processes to ensure high-quality outputs, timely shipments, and proper packaging.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Production Manager, and Shop Manager to ensure all graphic elements are printed and ready for installation in line with the production schedule.
Advise clients on printing projects, offering cost-effective solutions.
Grant final internal approval on all artwork, copy, formats, mock-ups, and proofs.
Maintain client-facing tracking systems, provide print proofs, and track client approvals.
Perform layout and job setup to optimize equipment and material usage while meeting customer requirements and timelines.
Provide graphic design assistance as needed.
Apply vinyl to various scenic pieces
Prepping scenery for vinyl application
Knowledge of low voltage lighting a plus for lit signage
Scenic Drafter – Nashville & Los Angeles
The Scenic Drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics to support project planning, fabrication, and execution. This role involves collaboration with engineers and project leads to ensure all designs meet project specifications and production standards, providing accurate and build-ready documentation across a range of projects. We are looking for someone proficient in CAD from a scenic or theatre background.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
5+ years of experience in drafting or a related field, ideally within fabrication, entertainment, or experiential environments
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD
Familiarity with SketchUp and Rhino; SolidWorks, Inventor, and Fusion are a plus
Strong attention to detail and precision in technical work
Knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and symbols in a theatre background
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving project needs
Excellent communication skills for cross-department coordination
Develop detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD or BricsCAD
Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate concepts into accurate technical documentation
Create 2D schematics and visual representations for design and fabrication teams
Prepare CNC-ready files for coordination with the CNC team
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards across all drafted plans
Review and revise drawings based on feedback or project updates
Support documentation for project bids and proposals
Scenic Carpenter - Nashville & Los Angeles
The Scenic Carpenter is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing custom-built structures and scenic elements for live shows, events, and exhibitions. We are looking for someone who is well versed in carpentry and enjoys new challenges.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry, preferably in live event or show environments.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents for live event setups.
Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision.
Ensure all builds meet our high standards of quality, durability, and safety.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and executing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel for on-site installations and event setups.
Metal working and welding experience is a huge plus, but not required.
Lead Painter/ Finisher - Los Angeles
The Lead Painter is responsible for taking ownership of the paint department, lead a small team, work closely with production, and help bring more consistency, quality, and efficiency to how we finish projects. We’re looking for someone with a deep bag of finish experience across scenic, theming, automotive, display, and custom fabrication work.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Create great finishes across a wide range of materials and project types
Lead other finishers with clarity and confidence
Efficiently navigate digital tools like slack and g-suite for communication and project reviews
Work closely with PMs, production, and builders
Build systems, not just beautiful surfaces
Stay flexible when fast-moving projects shift
Keep quality high without slowing the whole shop down
Scenic paint and faux finishing
Theming and immersive/environmental finishes
Auto body-style prep and finishing
Spraying/rolling/brushing clear coats, specialty coatings, and custom treatments
Finish sampling, color matching, QC, and onsite touch-up/install support
Leading small teams and managing finish workflow
Willing to travel
